Bilva Patra Trust, Visakhapatnam registered in 2019 under Registration Act, 57/2019. Although it was registered in 2019, the Bilva Patra Trust is doing the spiritual and social awareness from the last 25 years. Our main activities are here under:
Devata Vruksha
The Trust has started its activity by distributing the devata vrusksha, navagraha and nakshatra saplings, Bilva, rudraksha, kadamba, jammi, etc to all those who want to grow these trees. The Trust deals with nearly 40 varities of these saplings which are used in Hindu festivals and Rituals. The Trust is distributing all these saplings free of charge. If the people in the radius 250-300 kms wants these saplings, Trust is doing a free door delivery service from all these years. Before Carona, Trust used to supply these saplings by Trains also.
Shiv Ling
In addition to the above distribution of devata vrukshas, Trust is also distributing narmadeshwar Shivling at free of charge within India and outside India
“Har Har Mahadev – Ghar Ghar Mahadev” is the main slogan and is the main tag line of the Trust. Bilva Patra Trust wants to reach each and every home and fill them with Parameswara. For home purpose, Trust is distributing 2 Inches shivling along with base (angusta pramana). We are distributing these to all those who wants within India and outside India also. The Trust has also shipped the Narmadeshwar Shivling to the countries like USA, UK, Australia, France, Uganda, Nepal, Bangladesh, Canada, Russia Srilanka, Indonesia etc.
Narayana Seva (Nitya Anna Santarpana)
Another event taken up by the Bilva Patra Trust is Anna Santi or Nitya Anna Santarpana. For this Anna Santi, we seek support from people celebrating Birthdays, Wedding Anniversaries, Jayanthi, Vardhanti, Maasika Thidi, or other auspicious occasions. The Trust charges ₹80 per person, and the number of persons can be chosen freely, making it accessible and affordable to all.
The Trust also helps needy individuals, such as hospital patients without attendants, by providing meals.
Water Tanks for Cows and Street Dogs
The Trust distributes water tanks for drinking water for animals, such as street dogs and cows, in Visakhapatnam and surrounding areas. These tanks are specially made of cement with a depth of one and a half feet. The Trust also collaborates with local residents to ensure the tanks are refilled regularly. Forest areas like Srisailam are also covered, providing water to jungle animals and motivating locals to maintain the tanks.
Other activities include the distribution of chappals, umbrellas, and medical assistance to the needy.
